My mom was in a very fancy senior living community and she was not happy. The staff and the residents were not friendly and caring so she wanted to move out. I took her to Brookdale for respite stay, which is like two weeks and she loved it. So she stayed. Thank you, Brookdale for helping my mom find her place.

The higher management and executive director make it impossible for the residents (in memory care especially) to receive proper care. The facility itself needs maintenance and repairs. The employees are not treated fairly, and constantly doing the jobs of others due to chronic understaffing to the detriment of the residents. I would never send my loved one to be cared for there.
