Following a total knee replacement, I was referred to Brookdale. I had 10 home visits and was extremely happy with the results. My therapist was bright, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They were flexible on time of day. I had many questions which were addressed and she identified a problem with my meds which was affecting my blood pressure.
Recently my mother injured herself, breaking her back and tearing her rotator cuff and labrum. Working for home health care, I requested that she be placed on our service. This was the first time since working at Brookdale that I was able to see our clinicians in action. I was quite pleased with what I saw. Her team was attentive, wore complete PPE, and nearly every clinician kept in contact to schedule appointments. This is the only reason I give us a four and not a five star rating.
