RecommendedThe staff was so caring to my husband the 9 months he lived in the Skilled Nursing facility. He enjoyed the daily activities. especially the field trips and music programs. He participated in Books on Tape which kept his mind stimulated. Art therapy was offered through Hospice and he looked forward to those sessions.designed especially for him. When he passed, I felt comforted that I had found a place that loved him and treated him with dignity until the very end
We had in home care ordered after a month or so stay at a Brookdale facility in Colorado Springs. When the nurse from Brookdale home health care came to our home, she was so pleasant. Then, we never heard a word from her. When we called to inquire of the status, we were told our home isn't 'fit' for home healthcare. They didn't bother to call and tell us of their decision.
