If you love your loved one, get them out of there asap. Management is a joke, does not care about residents and are disrespectful to their families. High priced for no activities. No activity director and rooms are not clean and ceilings are cracked. Employees and residents are unhappy. Facility needs to be shut down. This is an injustice to residents to stay open. Shame on Management who only cares about sales and not about the elderly who families pay their salaries.
Stay away from this facility It is horrible. There is no interaction between Management and families. Also, Management does not even talk to residents. There are no activities-because they do not have a director for it. Executive Director and Wellness Director have attitude problems. Accounting Manager is also a troublemaker. Brookdale of cypress lake is one of the most toxic environments I’ve ever been in..yes the residents are great but it’s the staff that’s the issue especially management. A facility needs management to work under in order to ensure a smooth shift however the management here plays favorites and is absolutely terrible

This is my second review. I can’t say enough great things about Brookdale Fort Myers Cypress Lake. They go above and beyond for my Dad. Anytime I ask them to help in any extra way, they do so immediately. The staff is friendly and loving. My dad is very happy there and would have been lonely and isolated living on his own with in home assistance.
The team at Brookdale Cypress Lake is wonderful!! I’ve been a social worker in the community for over a decade and they truly understand the value of excellent care. I can’t say enough good things about this community!
