RecommendedMy mom spent several years at Brookdale Fort Collins, transitioning through different levels of care as her dementia progressed. I can heartily recommend Brookdale because of the caring staff they employ. We experienced a “horror story” at another local memory care and we’re glad we found Brookdale. The staff there have jobs that are not easy but they approach the challenges with positive and caring attitudes.
I used to work here. This place shamelessly under staffs and then told me that I wasn't working hard or fast enough, despite the residents telling me that they wanted me to spend more time caring for them. Overall, this place would do a lot better with their residents feeling more satisfied if they increased their staff, but they refuse to do that because they want to cut costs.
Caring and Supportive Staff that comes together as a team to meet our communitys needs. A place your loved one can call home and feel at home. Where the residents, staff, and community can be treated as a family. A place not a building where people can be and feel compassion, integrity, and comfort.
Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
