It is a great place to live! I wish I had moved here years ago. There are so many interesting activities; the food is very good; I make new friends every month; and the programs are entertaining and informative. There is no place I would rather live at this stage in my life.
U know the facility is good when someone can still find something to complain about. I've been here for 3yrs and find it to my liking. Thank G'D.
We had an 99th Birthday party for my grandmother, their cake was embarrassing !!! The two levels were screwed up and dry the writing looked like a five year old wrote it !!!
Gables is made up of people with various backgrounds and this display failed to reflect that. What a story this would have told. Whoever put this display together seemed to be BLIND to this. Next time really reasearch the facillity better. Thanks
My dear friend Frederick Gear is a resident there and his daughters myself and of course Freddy love it. Freddy turn 100 on October 4 and they had a shindig for him as he would say. They are very professional and yes very kind. Thank you for looking after him. Lily Hernandez San Juan Puerto Rico
My Grandmother lived at The Gables at Farmington for almost 4 yrs before she passed away. When she arrived she was confused and shy. Staff and other residents gave her gentle encouragement to participate in programs and to socialize on the patio. She soon grew to love The Gables and enjoyed her time there until she passed away. Her apartment was beautiful, the food was good and the Private Dining Room was home to our Holiday dinners once it became too hard to bring her home on Holidays anymore. Would recommend to anyone.
The Gables is a wonderful, loving & safe place for a loved one to live. The staff treat all residents like family. They are truly caring.
