I was just in for a cleaning this time. They had a difficult patient in front of me, so they were a little late getting me in. They were super apologetic of course. The hygienist is excellent, and she did a great job. She did not rush even though she was running late. I can't recommend Dr. Schmidt and his team highly enough. I have had a lot of work there and I have been quite pleased with all of it..

Not only do I always receive top-notch, affordable dental care through Mountain View Family Dental, but the staff is amazing as well. The chair side manner and clear explanations of exactly what he recommends, and more importantly why he thinks you need that service, makes Dr. Schmidt's office my go-to here in the Brighton area.
The friendly greeting made me comfortable from the beginning of my appointment. The examination of my dental issue gave me well explained choices to resolve my discomfort. The technology used along with X-ray revealed some critical issues to determine how treatments to resolve the issue should be approached. They accept CareCredit which allows patients to get the quality treatment they need and have a payment option they can afford. I really felt like my nervousness was understood and not brushed aside. I was not rushed when I needed a moment and for that I am appreciative. After many years of not receiving quality dental care at several offices, I am grateful that I was introduced to Mountain View and will definitely refer people whenever I get the chance.
As I was new to the area, I needed to find a new dentist to take care of an issue that had developed. Found this dentist recommended on the Nextdoor app. Went ahead and gave him a try. Very impressed. He makes an effort to just recommend, but to teach about the what he finds, and why he's making his recommendation. His office is very modern with new X-Ray and photography equipment.
