Affordable and great place to live! I have lived in numerous apartments in the past and have had very good experiences. When I applied for an apartment at Brook Village West, I met with Shawna and Beth who were very professional and helpful with my move-in process. They were very accommodating and made my stressful move so much easier on me. Love it here !! I moved here in April of 2023 and just renewed my lease for another year. Last year when applying to Brook Village West, Beth in the leasing office was extremly helpful and the turnaround time for being approved was same day! This was the first complex I've applied to / lived in and Beth was great every step of the way. She gave us a tour of the facilities(gym & clubhouse), took her time to answer all (of our many) questions, and made sure we had all the information we needed. NO GO The management does not keep up with any of the maintenance. I kept having to ask them to fix things like my A/C and other essentials.
Save your money I applied for an available unit on the evening of Thursday October 14th, 2021. We visited the property in person Thursday evening around 4:30pm but were told that the office was done touring for the day and they couldn't help us. Not a warm welcome but we loved the look of the community so we decided to apply anyway. When submitting the application we were required to pay the application fee of $75 per person and the deposit of $500 totaling $650. not worth it They literally left me with a broken window during the winter. They were notified in June prior to that fall to fix it and waited over a year to fix it. The management is disorganized at best. The dishwasher that came with the place is broken. They never fixed nor offered to fix it. The laundry service they use is insufferable. They claim to have parking for everyone but no one adheres to the guest limits and people often have extra vehicles, some non working. It’s a NO for me... Very disappointed! I lived here for about 3 years and from the outside it seems like a nice, calm place to live but it is not like that at all, the manager of this complex is problematic and they don’t actually fix the things that are broken in the apartment...would NOT recommend. Also the pool is nasty because they don’t really clean it.
Rodents Issue (Mice) I have an awful mice problem in my Cloverleaf apartment. We have had exterminators come to the apartment a couple times and all they did was shine their flashlight and placed 1 mouse trap. We have sent several pictures and had many email exchanges with the management, we even ask them if they can move us to another unit & I believe the management is not willing to do anything about it. Run!!!! Negative Rating Rent keeps going up management and buildings getting worse. Where do I start....... old appliances that keep breaking like the A/C, laundry and washer. They only have 2 maintanence workers so when something breaks it takes one to two weeks to fix. One time I was without A/C for a week and laundry for two weeks. Garbage disposal is always breaking so there is always trash piled up in the entrance and dog poop everywhere very unsanitary.
