They turned away a family member, not helping their mental state. And also not to mention practically overdosed another family member! I’ve always hated this facility and I’ve known that ever since I was a teenager. I stopped going a long time ago. These people make it TOO obvious they are just there to get pay for their job and go home, they clearly do not care about HELPING PEOPLE

Business response:

Our dedicated staff makes every effort to provide the best quality of care for our patients and clients. If you would like to discuss your family member's situation, please call our patient advocate at 301-733-0331 x1174.

Brook Lane Inpatient has turned into a place where money matters more than patients, at least to upper management. The nurses and MHA's are amazing but they are forced to work understaffed and admit dangerous patients which is a major safety risk. I would never allow my own child to go inpatient here unless they fix their many issues.

I called in because I desperately needed therapy or counseling within the next few weeks. I was told I “no showed” 2 appointments but I was unaware of these appointments & canceled the ones that needed to be canceled. I got no phone calls, no appointment cards, no reminders either for these alleged therapy appointments. I spoke with a supervisor Chrissy who told me, “it would be 6months before I could get seen.” I told her this is why people kill themselves because they can’t get help. She offered zero help and said I could ... read more

This place is horrible. The medical staff is uncaring and only wants to admit patients do they can make money off of the insurance company. Do not go there. You will be worse off then when entered the facility.

I feel I was a victim of medical malpractice this past week, at Brook Lane Health Services, of all places. I’ve been a consistent, paying patron of their mental health practice for 6 years. I have a great therapist there, but they’ve had a bunch of turnover with their psychiatric staff lately, and they’ve changed my prescribing doctor thrice in the past year. I started seeing my latest doctor, Alexander Dever, in July. The transition wasn’t bad. I’ve been stable on the same m... Continue Reading

Was discharged from outpatient care without explanation. I trusted them and they destroyed that trust. I don’t know if I will be able to trust mental “healthcare” anymore.
