I came in for a breast ultrasound after calling ahead twice to explain that I cannot have a mammogram due to PTSD and medical reasons. I was very clear about this and was told it would be noted and respected. When I arrived, I was still asked to have a mammogram. I said no again. The nurses (Kris, Cathy, Jennifer and others) extended themselves to make real connections at every encounter. These moments make all the difference at such times, become cherished memories.
