My bidet toilet seat lasted maybe 2 years. The heating element went out and since the crappy "warranty" was expired, they only offered costly ways to remedy. Bad products, bad customer service. There are better options out there.
We purchased 4 electric units for almost $1000 but one developed a little leak. When we asked for a minor part to stop the leaking (probably cost Brondell abt $2), after 5 detailed emails with pics, worthless customer service rep said it would cost $54; PLUS we would need to sign a Legal Liability Waiver form first PRIOR to shipping! We just decided to buy a brand new Clirass unit for $99.
Seat broke within first few months. I had bought an extended 5 year warranty. Brondell tells me that it will be 4 weeks from the time I send the seat for repair and the time I receive it. back. I cant do without a bidet for one month. I offered to buy a new one to replace the broken one and they transfer the remaining warranty to the new serial number. I was told that is impossible.
