I had a great experience at Bromfield. It was quiet, private, professional and personable. Came in with a handful of small old gold jewelry pieces and left with more than expected. There's a necessary level of trust when doing this, and it felt trustworthy and even though I am not experienced, the pieces were all identified as what I thought they were. He also helped with some appraisals of other things I was curious about but not parting with. Will be back if I have anything else to let go of.
I had a gold chain and a gold molar tooth to sell. I found the owner to be friendly, kind, honest, and sincere. I got a fair deal, and I was happy to do business. I would deal with this jewelry store owner again.

Sold quite a bit of things to them about 6 months ago and didn't really do any research because I had a decent amount of stuff at the time. Went there today with a small amount of gold after doing some research online and calling the day before and getting a price per pennyweight for what I had, I was offered way lower than what I should have been and what is expected for scrap gold and completely different than what I was told the day before. They lied to me about the spot price of platinum. I walked out, then over to the Jewelers Building and was offered 70% more for the piece moments later. I have never felt compelled to write a review before today, but I was so offended by the fraud that I hope to help others avoid it.
