Dr. Fitzgerald seems to be an excellent doctor, but I had negative experiences when trying to communicate with nurses on her support staff. A clinic's nurses are important because the structure of online portals and phone systems makes it virtually impossible to speak directly with your doctor. All of the communication is handled by nurses. I give Dr. Fitzgerald 4 or 5 stars, but because of the quality of the communication I've received from support staff, I have to reduce that rating to accurately reflect my overall experie... read more
I have received excellent care from MD Anderson for the last 7 years after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer, so when it came time for me to change providers after moving back to Illinois I was really nervous I wouldn’t find quality care. I can’t speak for the whole of Christie Clinic but Nurse Practitioner Ashley Ferguson made me feel at ease immediately. I feel as if I’m in good hands once again and will receive the same level of care as I did at MD Anderson.
I feel fortunate to have such a professional and caring group of people who look after my health. Their patients are their number one priority.
