In the ER for 5 hours for nothing. Friends were concerned about my safety & took me to BroMenn ER. Had to take a alcohol breathalyzer to prove I wasn't drinking or on drugs. The person doing the breathalyzer test showed me the results of ZERO / no drugs or alcohol. ER then bills the insurance company for the test & have a lab tech "read" the machine .... That I saw for free. Doctor was in the ER room for about 5 minutes during the entire 5 hour visit. I reviewed the clinic notes a few days later. I had to dispute several ite... read more

My husband was experiencing stroke like symptoms, EMT and paramedics said he seemed like he was having a stroke. He was sent by ambulance to Carle Bromenn Medical center ER. He saw a Dr when he got there the only test at that time was they did blood work. Usually a CT would be done right away and Stat results. I live 49 minutes away from that hospital. I got at the hospital 12:35am When I got there he was getting an EKG. 20 minutes goes by a RN came in and was asking him to smile, move his arm, normal questions. My husband w... read more
