Without Dr McKay I wouldn’t have overcome many tribulations in my childhood that allowed me to see my true value as an adult. With his unwavering support and guidance I pursued my undergraduate and graduate degrees, and a profession I love. I am a stronger person because of Dr McKay; consequently, the relationships with my husband, children, and other family members are stronger too.
***Caveat emptor*** If you have issues and want a caring therapist who will stand by you in your time of need, McKay isn’t your guy. He may be fantastic at garden variety anxiety, depression, family counseling, etc., but if you have actual mental problems, e.g. suicidal ideations, addictions or disorders, RUN FOR THE HILLS.
