RecommendedThe price isn't bad, considering the cost of store bought fertilizer these days - and the fact that Broccolo applies it for me. They do 5 treatments over the course of the year and they try to get after any weed issues that pop up. I do, however, think they might be a bit light on the amount of fertilizer they use. Absolutely rude on the phone. Called to let them know their guy couldn't read , was 5 houses off and sprayed our entire yard! Not impressed, apparently they can spray whatever they want wherever they want?
We have had Broccoli for at least 16 years. I liked their philosophy about spot treating without broadcasting chemicals. Andrew Freeman called before coming so I could keep the cats in. This year most of our front lawn died and no one seemed to know why or care. I spoke with Andrew and expressed my concerns which he said he would relay to the office. No one called. Very pleased with Broccolo Tree & Lawn Care, easy to work with and friendly
Do not use these people. I have had 4 separate issues with Broccolo either screwing up or failing to perform the service. Most recently, their Tech showed up at my house. I happened to be home and watched him. He put out the yellow flags and put a bill on the door but did NOTHING to the lawn. His bill says he was spot treating for weeds. I don't have any weeds. This treatment was supposed to be for insects. These guys are running a Con.

Customer sent the following email on 7/30 at 5pm: You guys showed up today for a lawn treatment at (Edited) Pittsford, NY. I was home. The bill your tech left says that he did a "spot treatment for weeds". Other than leave a bill and put out your yellow flags, I did n't (sp) see him do anything. 1. My lawn has NO weeds visible, so I don't know what the f--k (Edited) he was spot treating. 2. I just mowed Sunday. Great results from their fertilizer program- awesome people to work with :)
I think I fell in love with Jim Bonanno today.. He came to give me an estimate on a bunch of work I would like done and we had a great conversation about what I would like, what I needed/ didn’t need and what I could do myself vs what I would need done. At no point did I feel pressured or like he was trying to up-sell, but he still provided me information on the services that are available. I look forward to receiving the estimate.
Had a great time tonight making a beautiful wreath with dried flowers and grasses!! Great people helping us!!
