Broadway Diner is a 1954 fully restored vintage Silk City Diner built by the Patterson Vehicle Company out of Patterson, NJ. In 1954 fresh off the assembly line the diner found its home in Groton, Connecticut were it operated from 1954 to 2005 under the names A & P Diner, Twin Bridge Diner, Bridge Diner and Rosie's Diner. It was excellent....this is our new favorite place to go....food alway amazing.
I order carryout quite frequently for breakfast and I tend to love it. The problem I have is, and this has been on more than one occasion, the toast that comes with my food almost never has any butter on it and I pay extra to get cheese on my hashbrowns but they almost never have any on them. I know I don't pay a lot extra, but I'm still paying for it and I have to walk there to get the food. As much as I love the food, details need closer attention pain to them.
Excellent meal at decent price. First thing you will notice when ya walk in the door is the coffee smells awesome.

Very diverse menu with twists on the norm. Warm friendly atmosphere. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Will return and would recommend.
I had the Turkey BLT with Broccoli salad and a side of potato pancakes. Meal was awesome as was the service. This is our second time dining here since we don't live in the area, but great both times and I love potato pancakes! I believe the diner once was an old subway car. They do have outdoor seating.
Absolutely love this place! We eat there 3-4 times a month. I have never ordered the same thing twice. Every meal is always spot on! Don't care what you order, breakfast, lunch, or dinner you will be satisfied!
Excellent unique meal choices, friendly wait staff & nostalgic atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
Loved the food and the waitress's were very nice and speedy couldn't help but constantly star at the cooks they were hard worker's and done a very good job. Will definitely come back.
