Broadway Diner is a 1954 fully restored vintage Silk City Diner built by the Patterson Vehicle Company out of Patterson, NJ. In 1954 fresh off the assembly line the diner found its home in Groton, Connecticut were it operated from 1954 to 2005 under the names A & P Diner, Twin Bridge Diner, Bridge Diner and Rosie's Diner. Jeff and Vonnie purchased the diner and took pride in having it restored to its former glory, giving the Silk City Diner a new lease on life. Stopped here for breakfast. Food was great and so was the service! Very friendly atmosphere.

Stopped in for a early fish fry and ordered the 2pc dinner. Fish was greasy and VERY fishy tasting. I won't go back.

Second time stopping after hiking. Shrimp and pulled pork tacos—amazing! So fresh and tasty the first time that I had them again tonight. Exactly the same; fresh, hot and delicious! Friendly, efficient service and they don’t skimp in things like buying desserts; they are homemade. And they brew their iced tea rather than serving the fountain stuff. I had the Portabella Benedict they served over potato pancakes. Positively Delicious. And the service is excellent.
