Enjoy living at Broadway Center. Location is perfect -within walking distance of downtown amenities, parks, and schools. The staff are friendly and quick to respond. Apartments have gotten some upgrades and the maintenance is kept up well. For such a high trafficked area, the grounds are kept clean and yard maintained.
I was looking for a smaller place, with cheaper rent that would be closer to my workplace, to church and that would allow me to go places without owning a car in Eugene. This apartment at Broadway Center filled that need. It's only 4 blocks from Eugene bus station where most buses come and go, I'm within 3 blocks of St. Mary and I can walk up to work and to Choice market for groceries, although it takes a but longer. My downstairs neighbor threatened to assault me after I requested that he stop smoking cigarettes underneath my unit for my personal health concerns. The property itself is poorly ventilated, no AC, no in unit washer and dryers, and very delicate laminate flooring which tears easily. There are homeless people rummaging through the dumpster daily. Rather pleased with my experience with living in this complex for 2 years. I lived in a 1 bed, top floor unit with a half vaulted ceiling and it made the place feel so much bigger- great for all my plants too. Although living top floor meant it got grossly warm in the summer. Location is prime- close walk to all Jefferson Westside, Whitaker and Downtown needs.
