Our son moved here in August 2024 - he has NOT had access to mail or to his mailbox in 7 (seven!) months. Numerous promises to repair the mailbox, install new locks & keys, make contact with post office have been offered by management over the past 7 (!) months, and still...no access to mail. Even today, another promised date of resolution has resulted in NO access to the mailbox. Hands down the worst, and I mean this with the upmost honesty the worst management company I have ever ever had the misfortune to deal with. They are lazy, they lie straight to your face, and I’m pretty sure that they are discriminating against people based on their race. Especially considering I’ve left five voicemails, called four times over the last three weeks. I’ve had nothing but a runaround. The rent is incredibly affordable, and the courtyard is a definite highlight. While the building shows its age and lacks amenities beyond a dungeon like laundry room, the apartments themselves are both spacious and budget-friendly. A major advantage is the pet-friendly policy, which adds great value for animal lovers. The unbeatable price and central location earn this place 4 stars. That said, if it weren't situated downtown, it might only deserve 1 or 2 stars.

It's an old building. I get it. Management and maintenance have always been terrible but this new team is laughably awful. Unless you hound the office, no maintenance request will be taken care. I placed a work order in December and had to follow up early January, late January and now February and this is what I received (refer to photos). I tried calling the office and, as expected, couldn't get through. I tried calling the emergency maintenance number SEVERAL times and nothing. The apartment definitely comes with some wear and tear, which I expected moving into an old building like this. The apartment itself is nice if you're looking for something older with character. However management has been terrible; took several weeks to get a building key to access the back door and utilities such as laundry. Maintenance is not done properly or in timely order.
