He is committed to animals and has daily phone hours as well as office hours, so he is very available. He is direct and empathetic and looking for the best solutions, taking the entire situation, including the financial realities, into account. He strikes me as what a modern day James Herriot would be.
Dr. Luckow is a smart, detail-oriented, caring and attentive vet. He was wonderful to our beloved Golden, Toby, in the last few months of Toby's life, and we could not have asked for a more professional and dedicated doctor. I strongly recommend him for his knowledge, hands-on focus and attention and expertise.
Four years ago my cat Cyber was diagnosed with a cancer called Fibrosarcoma--the same cancer that we lost his brother, Slater, to. Three surgeries later, and Cyber is celebrating his 15th birthday today, all thanks to Dr. Luckow! Dr. Luckow has been caring for him since he is a kitten. He detected the cancer early, and operated on Cyber on three separate occasions. Dr. Luckow is the best vet around and I would recommend him over and over again. Thank you for giving me more time with my best friend.
Dr. Luckow is top notch. He is professional, caring and has taken great care of our Wheaton terrier and my mother's poodle. I highly recommend him for your pet. His staff is very professional and courteous.

Could not believe the great service we received on our first visit today. The reception staff smile as they welcome you. Dr. Luckow was fantastic. Last week we took our puppy to Banfield, Yonkers asked them to check his foot which was painful. Never saw a vet. When we picked him up later after he'd had his shots, they'd forgotten to ask the vet about his foot. A vet looked at his foot, said if the problem doesn't go away, bring him in for an Xray.
