4/6/2025: I lived at Broadstone Van Dorn for nearly nine years and my electric bill ranged from $5-$82.00 per month until suddenly, for no apparent reason and without being notified, it increased to $231.63, an increase of more than 180%.! I was never informed, nor have I ever consented to such an exorbitant increase. The washer and dryers are always broken. People leave their clothes in the washer and dryers, often over night so no one else can use them. The price to wash went from $1.50 to $2.15-$2.50, depending on the washer or dryer being used and when I use the card payment, if it doesn't work the first time, and I try it, again, I get charged again. There are no signs posted about how to get my money back. About two years ago, washers and dryers were placed in units, but I was told that they won't be activated for another 2 years. ... read more

This is Aster Aregai. I want to write a review about the management we have now. I have lived here in Broadstone Vandorn Apts in 420 North Vandorn St Apt 314 Alexandria VA 22304 for more than 2 years . This is the time I felt home most. The manager we have who is Michelle Prasasouk is very supportive and solve a problem as soon as she can. My husband and I never had an issue since we came here. She has a very good communication.
