Disgraceful. This is the only ward I know of that requires bookings to visit someone. The doctors misdiagnose conditions which negatively alters treatment plans and creates stigmas. They try to act like a Private Clinic and kick out patients who do not abide by their rules. Nurses do not check belongings for risky items and insist it is the patients responsibility. EDIT: Their oncall Psychatrists over the weekends because the doctors didnt fill my script in on friday and no one picked up all day ( team leaders or doctor) STILL CANT EVEN THOUGH ITS MY REGULAR MED the crisis lady was mroe help and hobeslty the psychatrists just get paid to sit there and check the clock and give up on you. CORRUPT! Make formal complaints to Aprah( Australian Health Practitioner Regulations) anyone having to deal with these abuses ! Aprah complaints will be the only way this place will care for you !
Terrible experience. I was misdiagnosed and not treated properly. After 3 weeks they discharged and I got very sick indeed. I was put into RMH and they got the diagnosis right. BIPU was hopeless.
First time being admitted too Broady Hospital. From 1/1/2020 until 1/3/2020. Most of the staff were fine. Some of the staff, doctors and nurses are aloof & indifferent. One of them I recognized from prior outings a while ago from other Disability field services around Melbourne's Northern areas. As expected by Victoria's Mental Health act already prior too 2014.
