Came in and Shawn was there to prepare me a true Philly. He told me he had ran out of the specific rolls he has shipped in from NJ that are just for cheesesteaks, but I couldn’t tell there was anything out of place. The cheese to meat ratio is incredible. When you get a Philly from a cart or food truck in Philly, it’s usually creamy with hot, warm, tender, fresh meat like this. Holy cheesesteak!! This beats the (other) uber popular place in Dunedin hands down. Talk about beef & cheese pleasin’ with an amazing roll. Prepared perfectly. Very very tasty. And the burger is another big win here w/ fries that are hot & crispy. All so good.
My son loved his cheesesteak. Bread is delicious but I got the chicken cheesesteak and it had big chunks of chicken that fell out when you took a bite and were hard to chew. I definitely prefer the meat to be shaved in a chicken cheesesteak as well.
Came in to try Shawn’s food. He’s been very hospitable and his entire menu looks good if you’re looking for an assortment of American cuisine. Got served by Sadie. She was great and did a fantastic job with my food. I’m a tough critic, but I tried the wings because I had faith Shawn knew what he was doing. They were really good. We lived and spent a lot of time in Philadelphia and New Jersey. I would say these cheesesteaks were pretty close to the Philadelphia cheesesteaks. We've been here 7 years in Florida and these are the best ones we've had. The food was very tasty. The portion was large. Atmosphere was also very nice. Quaint
