Renter beware. I’d like to think I’m an understanding and patient person but my patience for the maintenance department at Brittany Commons has run out. We've lived here almost 6 months and in that time maintenance has been here at least 10 times. In August, there was a gas leak in our entire building which resulted in the gas and hot water being shut off for NINE DAYS. I am not a resident but my elderly immediate family member is. There seems to be a community of younger Jamaican immigrants living here now, for which I do NOT have a problem with. However, they are very noisy and in the building my relative lives in (***** **** **** *** *** *****). They have approximately 5 or 6 males living in a 2 bedroom apartment! The situation looks very shady as I do not believe that they're ALL listed on the lease. Not sure if they have jobs or not but they come and go at all times of the day & night.... read more

We DO NOT rent a two bedroom apartment to more than 4 people, two individuals per bedroom. We have researched as much as we could since the original posting from last week was put on the internet. On that posting, the person writing the review did not include the address that either her mother lives in nor where the author thought the problem apartment was.
