College Students Beware! My brother and I have been looking for a place to rent with two of his friends. We are currently renting and the lease is almost up. We stumbled upon the perfect place (reasonably priced, close to campus, etc.). When I called, I was greeted with "Britt Management Group, please hold," followed by several minutes of silence. Horrible! We applied for a place and we never heard back. We called, we emailed we did everything. They obviously didnt like our applications but they loved taking our money. I am happy now we didnt go with them. They got the WORST reviews I have ever seen! I imagine this is exactly how they are when you need something fixed or done.
There is a property now, $950 per month, 1900 sq. ft. Obviously worth much more. Britt management leaves the key under the mat. I think so they don't have to show their faces. Then you call them on the phone, they ask, did you like it? Of course, I did. They then tell you to hurry and go apply online, so that you can be in when the decision is made. we asked when that would be. got no answer. charge for 2 adults to apply = $60. Let me see , times that by 100 or 200 when all is said and done. Nice!
BEWARE!! BEWARE!! Management Company? I think not. They are rent collectors. Never has been being in the same room with anyone made me want to take a shower so badly and wash the slime off! They lie and cheat. No kiss, no vaseline, just do what they do best. I wish I had seen this before I used them. Actually, before they used me. What a lowlife, low class bunch!
I have rented from Britt 2 times, and would again. I have also had my parents rent from Britt. I have also been a landlord, and know the issues. Never have I been mistreated by Britt, they have always taken care of any issues I have, and worked hard to find a home in the right price and area for me. I think Britt has been fair in all my dealings, and would recommend them to anyone.
Reno Worst Landlord?: Britt Management Review John Britt is by far the worst property management/ landlord I have ever come in contact with. He does not fix anything he promises to (even if it is in the lease), tries to charge you for everything (including things that were damaged before I moved in AND COMPLAINED ABOUT), and charges a ludicrous amount of money for a falsely represented repairs after you move out of the property (the disposition of the security deposit is dumbfounding).
