Our son was terrified of water when we first started lessons--wouldn't even lay down in the bathtub, forget about getting his face wet. But after a few months of lessons here, he is jumping into the pool and doing a back float with so much confidence! The teachers definitely challenge their students to do their best, and they use a lot of positive reinforcement.
So far so good! He is learning and happy to be in the water. I wish the water wasn’t so cold But your body adjust to it.
