Recommendedlove this place! was my mom's favorite. lived in Echo Park for my young adult life.. I visit often and stop here as much as possible.. great service- goooooood food especially the French Toast
I’ve been enjoying breakfast and lunch here for years. They have a new menu that is slightly different than the last. When I asked if I could order the same omelette that I have for a couple of years, I was told that I couldn’t create my own omelette. I think they should reconsider that policy. The corned beef hash I settled for had underdone potatoes, fatty meat and a strange liquid pooled at the bottom of the cast iron skillet it was served in.

The food is good & affordable with nice portions. A cup of coffee shouldn’t cost $4 though; let Starbucks have that madness.
I am still keening over the change to NO DINNER hours ! No more late-night dessert runs ! But this is my favorite neighborhood place. Good coffee, love the kale salad and the chipotle chicken pasta especially.Nothing beats the old-fashioned American diner ambience- but with delicious foodie food ! And best pie anywhere, imho. I am always happy to see Bob and David, and and and. [Okay-- I have painted an 18"x 24" scene called "Brite Spot, Counter Seat"-- how do I post it ??]
Food is amazing the service no that good. I go every weekend, jus because the pancakes but there's always something to complain about service. I’m sorry guys. 👎🏼
First time here me & my boyfriend enjoyed it. Great food, great service definitely returning.
