My mother received excellent care during her month long recovery at home after surgery and we truly appreciated the thoroughness, support and warmth of all the staff who came to the house. Special thanks to Elliott, the physical therapist, for his unflappable patience, compassion and humor.
Bristol took over MidDelta Hospice, I have been calling for a nurse to come out and change my dad’s Foley catheter and I still haven’t seen anyone yet, nothing but phone calls and promises.

My mother recently passed and, though we worked with the hospice team for a short period of time, the BH Home Care & Hospice team provided her with tremendous support and care. The team treated mom as their own, coordinated medical supplies and her last rites, and helped walk the family through treatments and the process. The absolute worst hospice experience I have ever had. My family member elected them for her hospice care and as she was actively passing away and was extremely restless and in pain, they refused to allow the nursing home to adjust her medications and said we will come see her tomorrow. Excuse me??? How can you allow someone who is dying to suffer until “someone can get there tomorrow?” The staff at the nursing home bypassed them and called their own APRN to address her discomfort.
