I’m very disappointed in my experience with this psychiatrist. I was discharged from care on the basis that I was doing well and advised to return in 12 months. However, several months later I experienced a relapse and attempted to make an appointment. I was told this wasn’t possible because I had been discharged, even though I still had a valid referral at the time. I was unwell at the time that I needed help from Dr. Gupta, although I'd prefer to forget the name. Upon my 2nd or 3rd visit, there was a misunderstanding between myself and the receptionist in which I misunderstood what time I would be receiving my medication. The receptionist complained to Dr. Gupta and said that I was being "aggressive" and he involuntarily discharged me. I personally feel that this guy is a complete jackass. My experience with this practice over the last few years has always been positive and beyond my expectations. The lovely Business Manager, Deepal, always greets me with a smile in her eyes. Her ongoing kindness has meant more than she realises. Dr Gupta has always been available to me when I have needed an extra appointment. His ability to empathise and understand what I mean, even when I’m not sure myself, is validating and healing.
