Order hot coffee here and you will get half a cup of cold Americano. Really? Brioche Cafe can't make a cup of coffee? Baffling incompetence. I'm blown away. I thought we had coffee figured out.
Brioche was recommended by local friends, but our experience was ruined before we even sat down. Despite holding a confirmed reservation made in advance, we were abruptly told it wouldn't be honored without a security deposit. While I respect the need for deposits to manage staffing, restaurants must be transparent upfront—not drop a surprise fee on guests after confirming the reservation. Thank the baristas who provided terrible customer service. Walked in and was greeted by a podium with no one at it. Do I wait or do I seat myself? Two baristas at the bar could have said something but said nothing. After a few minutes of waiting I went over to the baristas. Again, completely ignored me but paid attention to the person who was paying for their drinks. And they did reply to the person who called over to them to ask if they seat themselves or wait.
