Worst customer service ever! I've been trying to cancel my account for 2 days, its taken 3 calls of which one was 56 minutes and I still have to wait another 24 hours for an email in order to confirm the closing of my account. Its super upsetting and time consuming.
Deserves no stars! I called up brinks today for their services because we want to switch away from our current security company. I was surprised how little knowledge this technical supervisor has about their products and the products they work with. He stumbled on all my questions. I’m d to repeat and paraphrase so many ways so he can comprehend. He did not even know the brand name of their security devices! Very frustrating. Some months back I contacted Brinks to get my rate adjusted to a more competitive price instead of switching security providers at the end of my contract. They would not budge a penny. So, when my contact was up in June I called to cancel. Since that time they offered several offers, which would take my rate from $65/month to $20/month! My security company was bought out/merged/whatever by Brinks and the customer service has been terrible ever since. I sold the house and called to cancel my service, since you can't do that online. I have been sitting on hold for over a half hour, and someone just answered but even though I selected the correct option at the beginning of the call, they directed me to customer service instead of the cancelation department, and all she could do was transfer me to the correct department ...which means that I go back to the end ... read more
