As a gastroenterologist, I have seen first hand the importance of diet with respect to controlling GI diseases and symptoms. I have also come to believe that the microbiome that exists in our body play an important role for a healthy GI system. Therefore, I stress to all my patients to try eating food that is locally grown without pesticides or chemicals and to try taking probiotics on a regular basis. Not all diseases are that simple to treat, but it is important to take care of our body.

I have been with Doc for 10 years. Wonderful bedside manner. Even gave my mother in law, a compliment about how clean my colon was. She was a nurse and made sure I did everything right when doing the prep work.

Dr. Brinberg performed a colonoscopy on me on 1-27-2023. He has performed one on me in the past. He is remarkable as a person and a physician. He not only provides excellent care but is so personable and has a great bedside manner. I enjoy his gentle humor as it eases all tension and makes one feel comfortable. He is not stuffy at all. He comes thru as thoroughly enjoying his profession. I wholeheartedly recommend him for care -- you won't be disappointed.
It went very well. No complaints except the wait in waiting room was without music and 45 minutes long. Just more time to be more anxious than I already was. However, it went very well and quickly once I got in. BTW, I highly recommend the pills vs. the drink for prep. For me, much easier to swallow. Everyone in the office was very nice and caring. I will go back (in 10 years!).
I saw Dr. Brinberg for my first colonoscopy I have a very complicated case. He referred me for further testing with someone else because he wasn't sure how to handle my case That to me showed his humility and not arrogance as some would suggest. He gladly took the time to speak with me twice by video conferencing , and he answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend him.
Horrible horrible Doctor, he should do anything BUT interact with patients. I left his office crying so much I had to use the stairs to leave someone stopped to see if I was okay. All he cared about was research and doing experimental treatments. Wanted to give me extremely high doses of prednisone, didn’t care that my blood pressure was thru the roof. Dr Brinberg is an excellent doctor. He meets with you in his office not the exam room. He is not quick to order unnecessary tests. He instills a bit of humor to put you at ease yet during procedures he is serious, caring and professional. I would highly recommend this doctor. He is incredibly briliant and trustworthy. He treated me with respect as he listened to my concerns. He takes his time with you and doesn't rush like some. His office staff is really nice as well which is important.
Dr. Brinberg is a great Dr with an awesome bed side manner, he sees you in his office & talks to you one on one, face to face, not in a cold exam room. I loved that. He makes you feel like what you are feeling or going through matters & he is there to help get to the bottom of it & make you feel better. I am recommending him to my family & friends.
I had an appointment with Dr.Brinberg last week in Willoughby. I was very nervous coming in. Once he talked to me he put my mind right at ease! He's very friendly with great humor with such an uncomfortable topic. His office staff is great too!
Dr. Brinberg genuinely cares for all of his patients, finding common ground with each and every person he sees. I (4th yr med student) spent 10 hrs/day for a month with him in procedures and patient interviews. I was present for the 30min interview mentioned in a previous entry; Dr. Brinberg confirmed a diagnosis based on the evidence at hand and offered multiple alternative treatments. He extended detailed explanations and answered all questions. Like he emphasizes to me-being humanistic is #1!
