While the rest of Seattle was celebrating the Superbowl, my date and I dropped in to Brimmer & Heeltap to be surprised by quite a treat! Amazing staff. The simplicity of the restaurant was a great art. Very clean, with an open kitchen. Steak tartar was a whirlwind for the palette and oh so delicious! As well as the desserts we tried; sent me straight back to traveling around London. Inspired me to go back--both to London and Brimmer & Heeltap! Easily one of my favorite dining experiences in Seattle.

Each visit makes us love it more. Bravo to Jen and Mike for creating such a fantastic haven in Ballard - the aesthetic, the food and the service are all so well executed!!
Oh my gosh! Beyond my wildest dreams. Great vibe, great drinks, and great food. Told them to "surprise" me. Had the Daily Toast, Lardo, the Rabbit, Spinach with rice cakes, and the ricotta mousse. Mind-blowingly good. The flavors and combinations were a great taste party for my taste buds! Seattle, welcome to the latest best thing in food! (Their Manhattan goes perfect with the Lardo. Love that they showcase local distilleries and micro/nano brews!)
Seriously amazing. Want something as simple as a potato salad. Something as unique as octopus soup. BOTH mindblowingly above expectation. You will see me here far too often.
Oh the yumminess is soon to be dancing on my palate...and filling my eyes with joyous peeps to boot;)
