I have had one consultation with Dr McCallum so far. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating and were able to fit me in much faster than the endocrinologist my GP referred me to in Launceston. Dr McCallum was running on time and was excellent to deal with, he seems genuinely interested in getting to the root cause of my health issues and also willing to listen and consider my feedback on treatment options. Changed review from 1 star to 5 since Dr Roland Maccallum moved out of the Hobart Private Consulting Suites. No more horrible reception staff. The new location is brilliant and Dr Maccallum is excellent!

I’m receiving fantastic care from my specialist. However the reception staff have consistently been rude, incompetent and their level of basic customer service is pathetic. On one occasion I was left on hold for over half an hour. I ended up having to call the hospital, to call them, to find out what was going on. On other (multiple) occasions the dismissive, rude and frankly, unprofessional behaviour from reception staff led to delays in my treatment and other substantial inconveniences.
