My parent had to go into Memory care. The Sayville Bristal is understaffed for this dept. We were advised several times to get an outside aide bc of the requirements of my parent, who was not difficult other than the flight risk. They did nothing to ease this transition. They expected us to pay 10k plus a private aide which would be at least another 6k. We had numerous "meetings" with 5 dif supervisors to figure out how to help my parent, with the flight risk. They immediately suggest additional drugs to subdue my parent. Th... read more
My mom has been at The Bristol for three years. Staff there is like family to my mom and to me Lisa and her team in wellness are extremely nice to work with to get what’s best for the residents at the facility. Admission staff, Carolyn, Patti, Emily, Denise and Karen are very helpful. Pedro who runs the kitchen is wonderful and treats my mom like his own. The desk staff, Geri, Marjorie, Kim, etc., are amazing. Anytime I need help. They are very accommodating to residents needs. Carol A Seitz
