Brightstar home care took care of my mom . The caregiver Mayel was wonderful and went above and beyond .. The agency staff was also wonderful. They believe in continuity so my mom had the same caregiver which really helped keep my mom comfortable. The RN developed a plan of care tailored to fit my mom’s needs . She was excellent in keeping me informed with mom and her progress. I would recommend them over and over .

Excellent. Truly great caregivers and agency. The caregivers were highly professional, caring, skilled, trained, and very positive experience. The caregivers knew how to properly help and provide the best care.The agency put extra effort to ensure the assigned caregivers were the best fit for my mom.BrightStar Home Care was great. I had experience with other caregiver agencies and this one is excellent! They really care and know what they are doing.

I would not recommend BrightStar Home Care based on my experience with one of their caregivers. During the time this caregiver was assigned, I observed behavior that I found highly unprofessional, including bringing personal visitors into the client’s home, smoking on the job, providing only minimal meals, and not ensuring the client’s safety — which resulted in multiple falls. When my father returned from a month-long stay in the hospital/physical rehab, my family chose BrightStar to provide a home health aide. James, the owner, listened carefully as I described my father and his needs and was able to find the perfect fit for Dad. Dora was a tremendous help to Dad and gave my family peace of mind as he acclimated back to his life at the assisted living facility. Dora was professional, good-humored and very skilled at her job. She helped to make Dad's transition back home a positive experience.
