Disgusting, filthy room. Curtains hanging off the rail, microwave filthy, pubic hair on the table, dodgy front door. Metformin drugs in a kitchen draw, mold in the bathroom, oh, yes it was chocolate on the ironing board - all for an amazing $398 for two nights. No one around to speak to, complained to booking.com - offered $16 compensation. Don't believe me? See the photos for yourself. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
The worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. The unit smelt, there were tears in the carpet, holes in the curtains, the curtain in 1 of the rooms couldn't even close properly. The carpets were terribly stained and the lounge was so dirty we had to lay down towels before using it. None of the utensils or kitchen equipment were clean. Don't believe the photos which appear on the internet - definitely Photoshopped as reality is very different. We selected this accommodation as the photos were appealing and it was close to the wedding venue we were attending. It is only a short drive to the bay so it is a great location. As soon as we opened the door to our unit, the smell hit me and I immediately regretted our decision. The carpet had stains on it, the floor creaked badly, the shower head was taped up with red tape. Absolutely appalling – avoid at all costs I stayed at Brighton Serviced Apartments with my wife as I was competing in a triathlon and wanted somewhere close and convenient for the weekend. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. The car park alone was terrifying. It was filled with drug-affected individuals and homeless people loitering constantly. This is the dirtiest place I've ever been. Garbage in the garden, poor furniture, unprofessional staff. Simply unacceptable in 2025.
