I can honestly say that it if it wasn't for the Brighton recovery center I wouldn't be here writing this review today. Recovery isn't easy if it was everyone would do it. You have to put in the work and that is what Brighton teaches you is how to put in the work for your sobriety like you did your addiction. Life is life we have rules we have to follow. I can't say enough about how much Brighton saved my life. Today I am a mom a daughter employed and I owe that all to Brighton! ❤️
They took my family members phone away because of other residents actions, my family has worked extremely hard and moved up in the program to be able to have some of her freedoms back including her phone I haven't spoke to them now in almost a week . Family is a huge part of recovery, give them their phone back !! And punish the girls that are doing wrong instead of letting the visitors bring contraband in such as vapes ect. My mother went here and got very sick, almost bled out and they wouldn’t call an ambulance and told her she could wait until the nurse was back but the nurse was on maternity leave. We had to call an ambulance for her and the staff tried to refuse to let the paramedics or the sheriff in, and then had a woman from the facility watch my mother get a very private exam at the hospital. They tell the people that if they aren’t a contributing member to society, they should just end their life.
I would not send my dog here. They tell you that you have two options either change or kill yourself. This isn’t a rehab facility more like a behavioral modification facility and that came from the case manager Sasha there. This place allows your peers dictate what happens to you and well if someone who has it out for you will vote for stuff to happen when I believe DOC should dictate what happens not people who hate you. This place needs to be shut down for sure.
