Got to see ABA first hand. Employees receive 40 hours of training and are then "treating" your child's autism which they are highly unqualified to do, with minimal supervision from a BCBA. I saw my son being pushed into behaviors due to the "targets" constantly trying to be met. It's all about billing for these companies even if the employees have good intentions. I am thankful for the learning experience and now I know it is not for us. My child is not a dog who needs behaviors trained out of them. They are a human being an... read more
