I honestly regret leaving and writing my previous review. I wish I could go back. I just don’t know if the people would welcome me back…
I attended Brighter House for 8 months. I thought it was a good place to better my mental health yet the bad experiences started rolling in within the first month. I was told by the director that I was able to partake in transitional employment and when the time came to ask him, he basically told me it still wasn’t a thing yet. I used to be a member of Brighter House. I left cause I was being mistreated by members and staff. There was preferential treatment of the members. I can easily say that Brighter House worsened my mental health as I was stressed out all the time when I attended. They allowed members to even threaten other members and get away with it despite having a rule that members cannot threaten the safety of others.
