Dr. Day and his staff were kind, respectful, and supportive. I came to appointments with many questions and always left with clear answers. Dr. Day spent as much time with me as I needed. I feel like he really understood what I was looking for and my expectations were not just met, but exceeded. I have recommended him to several people and shared with my primary care doctor that he is someone worth sending folks to for care.
I have been going to Dr Day for about 18 months. I started with him after my breast cancer diagnosis. He worked with my breast surgeon/ oncologist for my total mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. From the first visit he was amazing. He took the time to explain everything to me, from the history of mastectomies to exactly what he would do, where he would cut, healing, he was very thorough. Dr. Day is amazing! He did such a fantastic job! My outcome went way above my expectations. His office staff is incredible. They are so kind and helpful! I would highly recommend Dr. Day!
Called for a consultation over a month ago and had everything sent ready for a call back. Called today and asked what was the hold up. Took them hours to get back to my call. just to tell me that they will no longer be doing gender conforming reconstructive surgeries because it’s too complicated with insurances (in lack of better terms). Said sorry then hung up before i ask for a recommendation or even get a singular word out. They left me in the dark, were uncommunicative, and rude. Dr. Day and his team were kind and professional. They walked me through my procedure for every step and never made me feel rushed. I asked a lot of questions, and they answered every one.
