this bank sucks. My mother used to be a manager at many of the MVFCU locations for nearly 25 years, I have literally been a member since I was born 34yrs ago. ATMs never work which means I have to use the night drop. Lucky me this time they claim there is nothing in the night drop and now i have $200 missing. If I dont see my money in my account by Monday morning (which will be tough since they said they would call me after seeing the cameras and now they are closed) I will be in there first thing to speak with the manager. ... read more
I have changed my review from one star to four stars. It was one star when this place was Merrimack Valley credit Union. Who I had few issues with especially when I applied for a HELOC. However, bright bridge. Credit union seems to be more organized, more responsive, and ever since bright Bridge took over. I have not had any issues with this new bank. Hopefully they stay this way.
Great credit union for all your financial needs
I've been an MVCU member for almost 15 years now. Even after I moved an hour north, I kept MVCU because they always treated me well, and were so easy to work with that it didn't matter that I didn't live close to a branch. I am leaving BrightBridge though, now that they've bought MVCU. When I was with MVCU, I had no complaints. They were great. After BrightBridge took over, all they do is nickel and dime you. $2 statement fees every month are annoying, but $28 overdraft fees when I have money to cover it in other accounts? O... read more
I am a former RTN member. (RTN recently was recently taken over by MVCU) I had something debit on my account that did not have sufficient funds. RTN always just declined the purchase so no big deal. MVCU decided that they will allow the purchase to go thru (making my account go negative) and then charge me a NSF fee. I filled out their form so that it doesn't happen again. 2 weeks go by and it happens again. Customer service said that the form is wrong and being misinterpreted.
