Bright Apartments is owned by a private landlord who is VERY DISMISSIVE of SAFTY COMPLAINTS and lacks on-site management. The office of Bright Apartments operates as a rent collection agency partnered with privately held apartment complex landlords and serves only the bottom line of profit; therefore, if there is a maintenance concern, you have to PAY FOR IT YOURSELF to get your needs met adequately. I rented a unit at oregon chateau for a year and had a generally great experience. Everything in the unit worked, and when I did have issues they were resolved quickly, usually within a week. It was a very old and very dated unit, but as a UO student I could not find a better price or location combination. I am since moving, but this is because I found a better fit for me, rather than getting pushed away

Bright management listened and worked with us to find a really good fit for my daughter. I appreciate their professionalism mixed with kindness and understanding, something that seems to have gone missing in this current tight housing market.

Lived here for a good amount of time. They never did the upgrades we were told about during the tour. They have you sign an agreement that you’re going to cover carpet damages when you move out in order to sign a lease with them, (which I’ll report to tenant services). I was angry then they accused us of having pets which we never had, saying they had to replace the carpet in a room. This proves to me that they did not change the carpet between us and the last tenant and then charged us for whatever the previous tenant left.... read more
