I visited Brigham Dermatology for the first time today. I was impressed. Dr Meltzer was a pro. And the staff made my visit a positive experience. A lot of the negative reviews were mostly about booking appointments which I admit was a bit challenging but I’m old school and don’t like to have to log in to the website and book on line. In my case, I dealt with several people who called back once they had direction. I don’t agree with the low ratings which at the time is 2.4. Definitely a 5 star.
The scheduling guy this morning is so rude. He speaks too fast that I could barely understand and he's raising his voice towards me. I was just asking for the dermatologist's name and the exact date. I hope he gets some retraining with communication. I don't know if he is having a rough day but he also ruins my day this morning.
This practice could not be more unpleasant to deal with. My husband’s firm changed insurance providers three days before an appointment I had waited for for 9 months. I told the receptionist who called to confirm my appointment about this, and she said I just needed to update to the new insurance in my patient gateway account before showing up for the appointment. I updated the information in my account as instructed, and it appeared as “change pending” but with the new policy information visible in my account. I arrived for... read more
