I love this hospital so much... I was 32 weeks pregnant and I found out that I was in heart failure. I had a blood infection that destroyed one of my heart valves. I had never been so scared in my life! When I arrived via ambulance to BWH (Shapiro) they rolled out the red carpet and took such excellent care of me that I was able to relax enough to know that I was going to be ok. Hey Brigham and Women's Hospital.... why aren't there any posts on your page addressing the fact that you have a patient there that has contracted two different strains of MRSA at your hospital and are doing nothing to address it and are bullying our family saying if we seek care elsewhere that insurance won't cover it because it's against dr's orders?! Yet you won't even stay in the room long enough to give him a treatment plan etc?!?! CDC hasn't been called, no tests, MRI's or surgical sites have been checked and it's been... read more
This hospital has excellent nurses and doctors. My grandma was admitted into Brigham and Woman's on multiple occasions and they are super friendly and nice and will do anything they have to in order to make you well and comfortable. They are very patient and very comforting through everything. I highly recommend this hospital when you have the choice.
Dr Waxman and his team @ the Cath Lab are true professonals
We live out of state. My wife has had 4 surgeries at BWH over the last 18 years (2 laparoscopic, 2 open abdominal). The entire staff were amazing each time, and we couldn't imagine being anywhere else for something medically important.
