I called to check on my niece this evening. I live on the Cape and a shut in. They told me to talk to her dad. I had her father put me on the list so I could call and check on her and possibly leave her little messages. She must be so afraid being hurt and in boston with no one she knows. I tried to leave my number just in case she could make a call. She doesn't have her cellphone, so she can't remember it, especially in her condition. I am very disappointed and surprised that patient families are treated so poorly!!

My father was told here at RI Hospital he needed a quadruple bypass. (he kept just passing out, or so we thought). He is diabetic, had pneumonia and never would have survived at that time. He decided to go to Brigham & Womens. Based off the record from Rhode Island Hospital they prepped him for the quad bypass. Then woke him up telling him HE DIDNT NEED THAT!!!
