Ed with BILD was instrumental in Luther Manor Hospice being able to help a hospice Veteran patient to return home where he could live out his final days with his family. Our patient required a lift in order to access the upper level of his home, and since the family could not afford one, he was not able to go back home. As the Occupational Therapy Assistant program director at Bryant & Stratton College I was always looking for places to take students to see equipment. Not only has the team at BILD allowed us to tour multiple times a year, but they are extremely knowledgeable, honest and ethical when it comes to patient care needs. They really take time out to explain products, the pros and cons of each and teach patient advocacy. I know my that when my students become clinicians they will continue to use BILD as a resource.
