I've been renting for a few months and already had multiple vandalism incidents with my car. Homeless people and drug addicts scurry around the property at all hours. Occasional tent camps pop up within a block. I regret signing a year lease and hope to leave as soon as its up.
Rented an apartment here for 7 years. While I loved the onsite Manager, the building is managed by PREDATORY rental company T.J. Guyer. Building in horrible condition. I’m talking continual mice problem with no action taken, multiple bouts of bed bugs, tenants smoking in their units, only 3 washers and 3 dryers provided onsite for over 40 units and never at any time in 7 years were all 6 of the machines operational. The person showing the apartment was awful! She was too lazy to show me an apartment and just said, it’s the same as this but on the second floor, “I can only really show two apartments”. What?! If you have open apartments, why wouldn’t you show them to someone who booked an appointment to come see the options you have…anyway, decided not to rent, simply because I figured this kind of behaviour would only get worse once I was a tenant
Terrible property management. I asked to see one of the units. The manager rattled off a phone number to call and told me I needed to go look at it before 5pm. I stated I work until 5pm and she just said okay and got off the phone. That number never answered so I wasn't able to set up an appointment to view anything. Then this morning I get a voicemail from them that they are removing the hold on the apartment because they never saw my application. Literally I don't even know what this woman is talking about.
