Ive been working with Susan for over 5 years and have had a wonderful experience. Shes helped us decorate and furnish our home with tasteful furniture and decor. Recently, she created a design and assisted us with finishing our basement. Shes incredibly talented and I dont make a decorating move without consulting her!

A bad experience.Not happy with outcome.Designer without taste or ability to communicateRenod our fan home in Richmond.Hired Bridget Beari b/c of advise from architect.Complained to him - told us that it is usual Susan was hired to flesh out creative ideas. We ended up doing all of the suggestions.The handyman who Susan has working for her is a mess. Indiscrete. CREEPYsomeone who should not have free range of the house if you are not there.
I found her in Southern Living Magazine and I was thrilled by her creativity and found out she is devoted to making my house beautiful as if she were going to live in it.I have used her for everything including the kids rooms and she always comes up with amazing designs that fit my budget too.
I am very amazed by that last comment and sorry that you felt that way. I had a wonderful experience with Susan. Susan may come off a bit shy at first but after getting to know her, she was so professional. I was very impressed with her wealth of knowledge, talent and experiences. I must say I saw her work done at local mansions and the best of all she took my little quarters and made it into a tasteful mansion. Having just read CdeGs review of Susan Jamieson, I must say I was more than a little surprised, I have worked with this designer and found her to be creative, efficient and congenial. I am not a person of great means and she worked within my budget with no hidden or additional costs.She did an outstanding job of ascertaining my particular tastes and working with them to design spaces that are delights to live in and are still beautiful after a number of years.She was a pleasure to work with and I would gladly reccommend her.
Susan's genius covers all facets of interior design. Even more amazing is watching her create incredibly beautiful spaces with an almost effortless natural spontaneity, which is reflected in her work. The essence of a great design cannot be described with words. The spaces alone give testament to the rare talent of Susan Jamieson.
